According to a recent JD Power and Associates report over 75% of US households receive their local and long distance telephone service from one provider - up from 51 percent a year ago.

Why get "bundled service"?

Why are consumers choosing to get bundled service? Two primary reasons: cost and convenience. For the most part bundled services are cheaper and it's more convenient for consumers to pay for all services on one bill.

Why such great prices?

Companies are able to offer bundled local and long distance service for cheaper prices for a couple of reasons

Many these companies are smaller and have much lower overhead and marketing costs than the "Big Three" telecom providers. This allows them to keep their prices lower and pass the savings on to you.
Companies realize that you're more likely to stay a customer with them if you have multiple services. What they lose in price they make up in volume.
