Can anyone use VoIP service?If you have a high-speed internet connection like cable or DSL you can use VoIP service. Do I need to get a new telephone?No. When you sign up your VOIP provider will send you an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter). Just plug your existing telephone into the adapter and you're ready to go. Are phone calls made with VOIP as clear as those made with traditional lines?If you have high speed internet access, especially cable internet, you won't notice the difference. We don't recommend using VoIP if you're using a slower connection like “dial-up” - that's when calls can become unclear. Can I use my computer while making a VOIP call?Yes that's not a problem.
